ABOUT Andrea

Andrea (Hall) Stachniewicz MA, Ed.M, LMHC, LPCC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and Licensed Professional Counselor providing specialized treatment for individual therapy. Andrea obtained her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University, and has been affiliated with institutions such as Weill Cornell Medicine, The Mt. Sinai Hospital and The New York State Psychiatric Institute.
Andrea has over ten years of multidisciplinary experience in local government, advocacy, community organizing, non profit administration, and private practice as a licensed mental health clinician. Andrea has held leadership roles in progressive electoral campaigns including Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign. She has formerly represented New York’s Assembly District 36, alongside former State Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani holding party office as duly elected Judicial Delegate. Her platform focused on advocating for alternatives to incarceration, increased community mental health initiatives, and protecting civil liberties across New York City and State. 

In her free time Andrea enjoys hiking, yoga, and building community through longboarding with Beyond The Board and Vibe Ride LA
